Slightly hazy gold with pocked off white foam. 4
Clean husky + soap. 4
Straight grain, a tartness but also a doughiness, a hit of flowers, then grass + spice to finish. 3.75
Dry, crisp, halfway past light. 4

So this has… bread (a DOP-listed roll from Waterford, actually.) I’m not sure what that should add, so I can’t say if it works. But this is a crisp, simple, well-built lager. Sweetens as it opens (is that the bread?) a bit too much, and I can’t shake the feeling there are some fruity esters that don’t belong. But easy to down. MM do better when they keep it simple. 4
