Pale slightly hazy gold; musty grain + underripe papaya; husk, lemon zest, melon rind + a ton of burnt grass; thin + a pile of bitterness.

Don’t know if the eponymous hop is in here, but it is claiming to be New England. By that measure, the tart nose is discouraging, the maltiness is misplaced, the fruit is missing all the lushness, the dry hopping is way over the top, and the IBUs are too high. Been a long time since I remember a good MM special release…
