16 oz can. Pours dark brown with a medium creamy brown head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is lots of pumpkin spice with a little roast chocolate malt.
The flavor is roast chocolate malt, pumpkin, and spices. The alcohol is well hidden. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a nice well balanced pumpkin porter. A little heavy on the spice.

a very very good pumpkin brew. its strong but not boozy, autumnal without relying too heavily on spices, and drinkable beyond what is probably reasonable for a beer this strong. i love the cocoa dryness in the nose, with a hint of cinnamon and a dash of allspice. the dark malt brings these out really well. the creaminess of the feel is the first thing i notice, its milkshake velvet on the tongue, glides right down, and doesnt linger as long as others. the pumpkin is before the spices which almost never happens. its juicy and fleshy and smells like carving a jack-o-lantern, thin in that way, but picked up by all the body. the spice accents it nicely without taking over, and the chocolate again seems prominent in the taste. the finish is quick for what it is, and a can goes down a lot faster than anticipated. its getting a little late in the year now for the style. but i have to say, this is probably near the top for me in terms of best pumpkin beers of the season. well done from these guys, and awesome to see some new beer from them finally getting in the market!
