This collab brew was born in familiar fashion - a couple of beers with good friends, geeky brewer talk about barley breeding, and lots of drunken hugs. The flavor that emerged started with a barley variety called Genie, which is being grown in Northern Colorado. On top of that base we tossed on some candy and biscuit malts, and then swirled it all together with two new hops from Germany. Huell Melon, known for its juicy honeydew melon and orange sherbert profile, and Mandarina Bavaria, which brings potent zesty citrus and floral characteristics, where tossed in the brew both in the hot brew and the cold dry hop. Super smooth with a silky mouthfeel.

On tap at the Tasty Weasel. Dark red color, good head. Aroma is malty. Flavor is sweet, candy like, cherries, cherry syrup, too sweet. Overall It wasn't my thing.
