A: crystal clear; deep gold in color; 2 finger off white head that receded to a thick, but splotchy cap; nice rings of lace;
S: quite aromatic; from a couple feet away, it smells weedy; once you stick your nose in it, there is orange, tangerine, and pineapple along with dank resin;
T: the flavor is all citrus - orange, tangerine, and pineapple; it bounces around between those three; not resinous at all; mild to moderate bitterness on the finish;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: very interesting; I wish some of the dankness had carried over to the flavor;

I violated my rule and purchased a boxed 6 pack with no canning date and found a 3 month old IPA upon opening. Oh well, it’s on me. Pour resulted in a gold, slightly hazy body with a fine bubbled 1/2 inch white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma was overly floral with some pine. Taste was overly floral with some hop bite. Lighter body feel than I was expecting, with medium carbonation. I was looking for a dank, resinous, sticky IPA based on the package advertising, but ended up with a lighter bodied, floral beer. Not bad at all but my taste buds were disappointed.

really really good, sturdy and fresh to me, on the edge of being a double ipa both in terms of flavor and mouthfeel, among the best in this series for my money. this is west coasty to me despite a little haze, its got pine as a lead hop note and some finishing bitterness and an oily texture, the way ipa used to be, but the hop profile past the woodsy wet pine is modern and unique, uncommon and even challenging, and there is no drop off from nose to taste, which rules. hard to even guess whats in here, a lime leaf note suggests some galaxy, a little bitter melon rind could be el dorado, but its all speculation and to me its neither mosaic nor citra, which is part of what i love about it, not that those hops arent legends, but they are in every single ipa now it seems, so their absence alone makes this unique and intriguing. light peach and nectarine, sticky weed, milled lumber like centennial might provide, and even a mandarin orange from the can thing on the finish. some light residual sugar carries this long on the tongue, pleasing but bigger, and it has a lot of body without a ton of grain flavor, just balance. very tasty brew here, sort of like if dales got some new life breathed into it or something, you can tell they are brothers. definitely a highlight in the series!

Like this brewery and this line is one of their mainstays. Beer pours hazy gold with a thick white head and lacing. Nose is both sweet fruit and resin. Taste is fairly mellow for an NEIPA, malty, smooth and creamy with orange and mango notes.
Finish is slightly resinous and spicy but is crisp. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and refreshing. This is a very good NEIPA at a very fair price -- under $10 for a six. I will be buying again!

This was kind of an interesting one for me. The appearance and nose are kind of mediocre for the style and even the taste, with its stripped down citrus and tropical is fine but it is that big chewy, lip smacking finish that I am interested in. I was wondering exactly what resinous meant, and now I know. Now, if you could combine that with a first class front end, you could have a superstar. Still, I would try this again.

Picked up a 12 oz single as part of a mixed sixer from Ingles Spartanburg store cooler 5-18-2021 for $10.98. Packaged 3-18-21; consumed 6-18-21.
Beer poured a hazy golden with a very nice white head that has some nice hang time.
Nose is nice, of citrus and tropical hops.
Taste is a moderate. Malt base with a nice flavor addition of orange and mango. Finishes with a decent rind bitterness; 6/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly refreshing.
Overall a solid hazy.

355 ml can, as Oskar Blues Can-O-Bliss IPA Resinous, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.2%. Moderately hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, marmalade, malts and dust. Citric and piney flavour, not too sweet, well balanced grapefruity and resinous bitterness in the finish. Enjoyable beer.
