Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance - The beer is served a clear golden color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is lighter overall, consisting mainly of a grainy smell mixed with a a bit of breadiness and some caramel. Along with these smells comes a touch of herb and some hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice cracker malt taste mixed with some light graininess as well as some caramel sweetness. As the taste advances the graininess gets greater and is joined by a little bit of hoppiness of herbal and a light pine hop. Overall, one is left with a rather crisp and crackery grain taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the style the feel is great and makes for a nice easy sipper.
Overall – A very easy drinking and crisp brew, great for sessioning on.
