On tap at the Brevard brewery Tasty Weasel taproom during the 3rd Anniversary celebration.
O: I've had a bunch of marzen beers, almost all German thanks to an advent beer calendar. This US version is as least as good as any of them and definitely better than most. Great balance and more flavor than average. Highly drinkable and no doubt great with food, but I have to guess because it was gone before my food arrived.

Served on tap at the Oskar Blues Home Made Liquids and Solids.
Served cold in a heavy glass mug with the beer name printed on the side.
Pours a copper orange color with great clarity and a 1/2" of white head. Head settles fast leaving no lacing behind.
Aroma is sweet and malty with a bit more hops than usual for the style.
The flavor is similar with great caramel malts and a healthy dose of earthy hops to balance it out.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and easy on the carbonation. Good balance, nice and clean.
Overall a nice Americanized version of the style.
