An American IPA with intense hop flavor and forward bitterness are representative of a west coast style. Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe lead the way with mango, white wine, and slight resinous pine. All of this harmonized with two German varieties, Akoya and Saphir, that push the floral notes to the brim.

(review from February 2022) Solid ipa w/great aroma-balance-mouthfeel, light haze, complex floral-fruity-piney-slightly citrusy flavor & not nearly as bitter as its 90ibus (thanx for listing 'em) implies to my tastebuds. Very smooth & quaffable for a 7%er that disappears fast & easy

This beer pours a clear/ golden/copper color with a significant white head. There is a strong aroma of fresh pineapple. The taste is very hoppy with a nice level of bitterness. The beer has a creamy texture.

From a mixed 15pk. Canned 7/16/22. Let sit out for 20 minutes at 60F, before opening.
Lightly hazy gold, with slight orange tint. 1.5 fingers of coarse ivory head. that leaves a few spots & short streaks of lacing.
Smell is candied orange rind, slight green onion, a little pine, a bit of biscuity malt, and brief flashes of a light, sweet floral aroma.
Taste is similar to aroma, minus any green onion flavor, plus a little white grape & kiwi. Old-school IPA flavor+ a little extra, leaning to the sweeter side of that spectrum. Light bitterness. Guessing that I would have thought this was quite bitter back in the day, but seems mild now.
Feel is medium , fairly smooth , with moderate, slightly creamy carbonation.
Overall, pretty good. Not knock-your-socks-off, but enjoyable, & easy-drinking. :)

355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 7.0%. Hazy yellow colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of citrus (incl. some orange marmalade) and piney hops. The flavour is grapefruity and quite bitter. Not bad at all, but a bit one-dimensional.

12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Pale, cloudy golden with a huge fluffy white head. Citrusy, floral aroma. Taste is grapefruit peel, floral, hoppy. Strong hops but smooth.

Clear amber/copper with a creamy eggshell white head. Good retention and lacing.
Malted oats on the nose. Grainy and nutty sweetness. Super earthy, hints of citrus and pine.
Very earthy, hints of papaya, mango, and grapefruit. Slight gooseberry and white grape must notes from the Nelson hops! Malted oats for sure. Biscuity, slightly toasty/crusty malt, with greasy oat/peanutty sweetness. Finishes crisp, though. Hints of pine sap but a clean finish, just slightly bitter.
Malted oats, decreased bitterness, and new school hops...this is Oskar Blues' stab at the new-school west coast/"no coast" style of IPA, however, they do a pretty good job at it. It's an accurate representation of the style. Pretty good beer overall.

Look-This pours a straw-yellow color with a semi-impermeable clarity. It has an off-white foamy head with thick lacing and diminished head retention.
Smell-The aroma isn’t very strong, but has dank hops, tropical fruits, light alcohol, toasted cracker, and some earthiness to it.
Taste-I must say that for a Western Style IPA the flavor doesn’t have as much tropical fruit as I would expect. It is still a good IPA, however. I get mostly dank hops up front, then hints of citrus and ample pith, mild caramel malts and toasted cracker, followed by light earthiness and herbal qualities, and then rounded off with pine hops and a light honeysuckle sweetness. A lingering grapefruit rind coats the tongue. I’d say just north of medium-bodied.
Overall-This is a great West Coast Style IPA overall, but not quite as juicy-forward as I was expecting. It is more of a dank hop and citrus pith-dominant brew. I would buy more if I come across it on the shelves.
