(review from March 2023) Another good mutant variant from OB, this time a NE ipa with good mouthfeel; light haze; lower hoppiness and a subtle citrusy/floral/fruity/slightly tropical flavor and quick-fading aftertaste. Very quaffable.

Wow! Solid entry in the category. This thing is hoppy! I could smell it immediately upon pouring the 12 oz can that is a bit old well over three months) into my glass.
So, if this offering I had, purchased in Southern CA Oct. 2023 isn't even fresh and it's this good, I'd love to have this from the tap.
My thoughts:
*A West Coast style unfiltered IPA that smells intensely of grapefruit and other stonefruits.
*Intensely hoppy but without any offending pine or other discordant flavors. Smooth yet tons of zesty hops, berries, that funky/dank flavor, but all together it just tastes powerful without being overly bitter. I'd guess the IBUs are 50+.
Finishes dry and is comparable to many of the best entrants in the style.
Solid A for this IPA.

S: sweet, juicy floral notes with perfume undertones.
T: dank, juicy, earthy hip notes with a citrus, rind juicy malt taste. Floral hops in the back of the mouth.
M: full bodied and smooth.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a slightly cloudy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is dominated by melons. Taste is melons, light oranges, mild bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Did not get this one, not sure of the goal here. This is a slightly below svg. IPA at best. With such a name, was expecting something s bit anew, but this is just an IPA that is marginal and one I won't revisit.

Among my favorite brewers. Dales is classic craft.
a) Over semi-hazed golden body, rises snifter tall lace and a lasting head.
s) Ripe melon and flowers dominant.
t) Follows aroma and adds some medicine cabinet, orange, pineapple and caramel. Nice twisty finale of sweet caramel and bitterness.
f) Soft, smooth, lacking final bite.
o) Fine craft, totally worth a try.

12oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of ripe melon, orange, pineapple and caramel. Sweet fruity taste with toasted caramel and a sharp bitterness.
