Big notes of tropical fruit blasting out of the DOUBLE stacks in the back. If it's too loud, you're too old.

From the small can, it pours a slightly hazy light amber color with a modest white head that diminishes to a thin layer. The nose gets some citrus, pleasant. The mouth follows with a light citrusy slightly sour brew with malty notes.

LOOK: Pours a highly hazed light gold color with handsome tight glass hugging white head.
AROMA: A broad array of citrus scents and hop aroma with an earthy hop base to balance.
TASTE: Nice juicy up-front flavor including grapefruit, and passionfruit tropicals.
The juicy up-front taste brings on a mildly bitter and drying finish.
For me this was a good NEIPA.

The code name for an IPA that's not quite hazy but isn't bitter either is "juicy". The act of borrowing what they can from hazier trends but stabilizing the beer for longevity through dryness and cleanliness leads Oskar Blues to this precipice of hops.
Moderately hazy and teeming through its golden veil, Hazy Blues provides a pleasant scent of citrus, tropical fruit and sprucy herbs through a sweeter scent of honeysuckle and toasted granola. Sweeter impressions of granola only grow through the caramelized malt flavors of honey, toast and nuttiness. A pop of citrus brings out brighter flavors of pink grapefruit, orange and lemon ahead of more dried tropical fruit of pineapple, passionfruit and mango before trailing into a stern bitterness of spruce tips, hemp and sun tea.
Medium bodied and striking the difference between bitter ale and hazy ones quite well, this crushable IPA is pleasant but unfortunately forgettable. "Juicy" is starting to get a bad rap.

Can dated 08/01/24 into pint glass. Pours a very hazy medium gold with a nice off-white head. Initial impression is juicy citrus nicely balanced by malt. Mouthfeel is smooth, soft, and satisfyingly hefty. Finish fades to sweetish malt with citrus overlay. Overall, a very easy drinker (especially considering the ABV) and quite enjoyable.

Picked this one up scowering for beers in the Erie location not much to say about this one the Juicy hop profile really covers up the massive ABV with an excellent malt bill to balance. Much better if not on par with the Double Dales ale which I enjoyed in the past but lately reviews have gone a bit south, TRY IT!

Pours a hazy golden color with a 1F head and light lacing.
Smells of slightly dank metallic piney hops and citrus.
Tastes of tangy wheat in the malt, orange and lemon with a slightly bitter, boozy warm finish.
Medium light body and carbonation, Slightly watery, dry mouthfeel. mouthfeel.
I place this brew among the strong, good bang for the buck tallboys being sold these days.

Served in the now common 19.2oz extra tallboy can.
Certainly right on par with the hazy IPA craze, plentifully hoppy. Lots of flavor, 'juicy-ness' and a solid malt base.
Pretty darn good. But I would expect nothing less from Oskar blues
