(review from July 2024) Solid, well balanced ipa with nice aroma/mouthfeel; medium hoppiness; light haze and a peachy/mango-ey/tropical flavor & a slightly lingering aftertaste. Very quaffable.

Purchased on-tap for $7 a week ago. Poured into a standard pint glass. Review written on receipt paper.
L - Slightly-hazy straw with a minimal pale white head. Great lacing.
S - Starts off with pear & peach, and evolves into cracker and citron peel. Sweet aroma in-general.
T - Ethanol forefront. Wonderbread, hay, and extremely-faint peach. Herbal finish.
F - Medium body, mild carbonation. Crushable.
O - Not too much to say here, though I can't say I expected to. Pretty average, I suppose. I just wish the peach came through more. I probably won't get this again, and it isn't really worth seeking out.

Picked up a single as part of a mixed sixer from Ingles on Airport Road cooler on 1-10-25 for $12. Canned on 8-25-24 i think; consumed 2-21-25. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured chilled gold with a nice long lasting white head.
Nose has a light touch peach and citrus forward, a tad artificial.
Taste is a light pale malt base that seems as if peach jolly ranchers were added. Very artificial tasting. Hopping is appropriate for the style; 6/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and is very refreshing except for the excessive sweetness.
Overall, the "Abstrax" process needs to be dialed back, this is way too peachy and i dig stone fruited IPA's that are subtle.

Light gold pour, touch haze, tight white head that leaves quickly. Nose is peachy. Taste is peach, light kilned malt, sweet citrus, floral. Finish is fruity. The peach seemed off, or kind of "natural flavoring". Still a solid beer from a strong brewer.

So the nose is rife with peach and tropical flavors. Hazy body, this seems leaning in an NEIPA direction. Flavor is sweet and fruity as indicated and has a bit of resin in the finish but is otherwise clean. This is okay but not terribly complex and a little artificial feeling from the strong, sweet fruit profile. Fine for a mixed pack throw in but not too inspiring.

Look: lightly hazy, apricot colored. Head quickly dissipates.
Smell: Relatively mild scent, a bit of hop bite. Fruit mostly, peach and mango and a little pineapple. A touch of antiseptic.
Taste: Stronger than the scent, the hops are a bit like antiseptic, but in a positive way. Peach rings, with the other fruits kind of tasting like the versions of themselves that flavor vodkas.
Feel: Light yet round and sparkling, it's a good texture for a summery 7% ABV beer.
Overall I'd call it a 4 in terms of my overall enjoyment, and I'd like Oskar Blues to at least keep it in circulation for their variety packs, if not put it out on its own.

Just opened my first ever Mystic Mutant V. The added fruity flavoring tastes gross. I can't even finish this can of beer. I am a big Oscar Blues fan, this particular beer is nasty.

Can dated 3/17/24 into pint glass. Pours a somewhat hazy light gold color with a brief off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is peach, mango, and pineapple. Mouthfeel is medium. Finish is a taper of the taste. Very enjoyable.
