On cask at Churchkey, listed as a blend of dale's pale ale with ten fidy, then dry-hopped with centennial hops.
Appearance: No head whatsoever, very minimal lacing, body is dark brown with some ruby hues.
Aroma: fairly subdued, roasted malts mixed with some earthy hops.
Taste: hops come through, very earthy, resiny and a little pine. Malts are there, almost reminding me of a black ipa. Roasted barley, a little bit of that black patent flavor comes through. Has a light chalky flavor as well.
Overall this is an interesting take on two beers I enjoy. Comes across like a black IPA, but has a light chalky flavor that detracts from it.
