Rustle up a good time and get into the swing of a Neon Rodeo. This slight sour fruited ale wrangles a two-step of flavor with zesty lime and refreshing raspberry plus a touch of tartness perfectly suited for the barstool, dance floor, or beach. Poured into a narrow half pint glass - color is slightly hazed gold, head is brighter white with fine bubbles, head presents at least one finger thick, pleasant lacing on glass sides.

Smell is light raspberry, touch of lime, light wheat, pleasant, simple and enticing for a sour ale with some fruity depth.

Taste is similar with raspberry, light lime, wheat base, all well put together for a sour that is not overdone but not really a wheat ale either.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, low bitterness but light sourness. super drinkable.

Overall a beery fruited sour - fun take from Oscar Blues.

Rounding up all the citrus and berries that they can, Oskar Blues tackles the tastebuds with a pleasantly sour ale and those candied fruits in tow.

Pouring cloudy gold, Neon Rodeo pops with a sprite expression of bubbles ahead of a candied, musty, bready scent. As it's light sweetness skips across the tongue, a sense of pixie stix and sour straws immediately come to mind. Wrapped in a wheaten character of sourdough, the flavors shift to a brisk acidity for balance and dryness.

Medium-light in body, this rodeo plays nice as it brightens the senses with the prescribed lime and raspberry.

Canned 2/5/26. Well yee and haw. Certainly got the as advertised lime, the raspberry not so much? Tart but nowhere near a puckerpuss sour, it's still marinade to me, your mileage may vary.
