On-tap at World of Beer - Naperville, IL
Pours black with a tan colored head, leaves some light lacing on the glass. Aromas are roasted barley, chocolate, faint coffee. Tastes are pleasantly roasty with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and anise with a faint nuttiness to it. Finishes exceptionally clean with a bit of roasted malt lingering. Mouth-feel is thin-to-medium with nice carbonation. Overall, nice balance and flavor. Good example of the style.
