[According to the brewery, this is a sour wheat beer fermented with black currant and raspberries and aged for five months.]
Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a murky pink-orange color with no head. The aroma is very, very odd. There are no real beer notes to be found, but what I do get smells almost exactly like tomato juice. Weird.
The flavor is similar. I get a lot of tomato and celery notes (like in a bloody mary) as well as some sweet and sour notes. Someone at the tasting said the beer tasted like Flintstones Vitamins and I can't disagree. The sweet and tart fruit notes actually kind of go well with the tomato notes, as weird as that sounds. Low carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Definitely a weird one, but glad I got to try it.
