[This is the base beer for the Oak Aged Cassis and Kriek versions.]
Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is not too appealing. I get some biscuit and bread malt, as well as some strong, funky vinegar notes. The flavor is tart lemons with some wheat mixed in. There is also a cat piss like flavor similar to what you get in some big, hoppy IPAs Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
The worst of the six Kolding sours at the tasting. The other two 2010 versions, Oak Aged Cassis and Kriek, are far superior.
