Black in color with no penetration to light. There's a fingernail of beige resting on top. I smell dark chocolate and roasted barley. The taste is a nice blend of bitter roasted barley and sweet chocolate and marshmallow. The mouth is creamy while also showing some light stickiness.

Pours a black color. 1/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and decent lacing. Smells of roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of alcohol, hint of nut, and slight caramel malt. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of coffee, slight alcohol, hops, hint of dark citrus, and slight caramel malt. Overall, good appearance and aroma, but the body and blend are great. The complexity level of the body compared to the aroma is amazing.
