Gold with a fingernail of off white on top and a clear complexion. Heavy lacing. The aroma is of pale cereal grains. I'm tasting faintly toasted cereal grains and crackery malt. The mouth is light and crisp.

12oz can poured into a pilsner glass. Nice golden amber color with bubbles rising fast to a white head that recedes to a ring pretty quickly. Smell is vaguely toasty. Nice medium body, with grain and toasted caramel-like notes. Fairly assertive bitterness at the end that sticks around too long. The bitterness has a strange afterflavor that lends an almost astringent note to the beer. Feel is bubbly but otherwise smooth. I'd say this is an alright beer.

Had on tap. Oh give me a break homers! This is a good vienna lager, but it is not anything special. Plenty of white bread to go around the body and taste, with some caramel malt, decent hop spice and bitterness, and a hint of caramel. Good composition and feel, but the aftertaste has some adjunct to it. Good, enjoyable, but not world class
