Our first honey beer combines 150 pounds of local (Saint Genevieve, MO) wild flower honey with three types of wheat malt and some pilsner malt. This tasty, crisp, pale golden beer has bready malt characteristics along with honey aromatics and flavor, but a bone-dry finish.

"Honey Brown"

Pours brown in color. Head is a finger of off-white foam. Aroma is bread, biscuits, and honey. Flavor profile is bread, biscuits, and caramel for malts - with a dash of honey for some sweetness. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is light fizzy. Overall, fun with a good balance.

On tap. Poured out a crystal clear, honey color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of honey, caramel and wheat. Sweet honey taste with caramel and almost no bitterness.
