Bottle received via CanBIF 2014. Poured ~5C into a beer mug. Brew No. 14-102 (whatever that means)
A: Clear golden sunset beer with light bubbles and white head that falls to a ring leaving little lacing.
S: Potent fruity hop aroma. Melons.
T: Clean body with hint of sweet malt. Good strong bitterness, though not overpowering. Lighter fruity hop flavours than the nose would advertise. Some herbal hop notes prevail in the end.
M: Crisp carbonation that keep the beer biting the tongue nicely.
O: A solid beer, though not outstanding. Worth drinking once or getting on tap, though not seeking out. Unsure what makes this a Bavarian IPA, perhaps the hop choices?
