Decent roast and Coffee notes, especially on nose, but very watery even on nitro. Appearance hints at this thinness up front.

An excellent Sunday afternoon beer - lots of flavour and low 4.3% ABV. Picked the bottle up at the Junction brewery last week-end and sad not to have gotten more.
Pours a thin black with dark brown highlights at the edge of the glass. Off-white head looks nice, but disappears very quickly. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and roasted dark malts. Flavour is a well balanced combination of all three, with an initial sweetness transitioning to a nicely mild bitterness in the finish. Although there is no sign of lactose in the mouthfeel, I pick up some chocolate milkiness in the body (that I may well be imagining). Either way, a thoroughly enjoyable 500 mL!

A - As black as the nights sky, low head retention but nice and creamy.
S - Low smell, notes of smoke, coffee.
T - Smoke, chocolate/dark malts, coffee beans, low hopped.
M - Very light on the tongue, mild hops on the sides, malty in the centre, very smooth.
O - This is a nice drinking everyday stout, I found it more of a British Style Stout. I enjoyed it, would buy again, 500 ml bottles, fresh from the brewery.
