Beautiful burnt red color with a thin ring of head.
Aromas of smoked chips, cured wood, dark cherry, plum, and grape koolaid.
Flavor is much of the same, starting with an alcohol punch, torched plum skin, then thinning out considerably, fading to almost nothing and then coming back ending on grape koolaid and dark cherry.
Feel is on point for a doppelbock except for the thinning.
Overall it's decent but not record breaking. Would have again.
