Copenhagen 18/10 2017. 33 cl bottle from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. As "US Belgo Tripel".
Pours hazy orange with a humongous white head. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Massive lacing.
Aroma is fermented and fruity with a solid whiff of alcohol. Distinct citric notes of grapefruit. A little marzipan.
Medium strong carbonation and thick oily palate.
Flavor is strong and with an Ok balance even though a bit on the bitter side. Light sweetness followed by more prominent bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and finish semi-dry.
Nice strong American inspired Tripel.

Hazy light orange color with off-white head. Aroma has citrus fruit cake and biscuit notes. Taste is tart, yeasty and slightly spicy with bitter grapefruit rind finish. Medium body with medium plus carbonation. Overall decent but a bit too spicy.
