Copenhagen 20/2 2019. 50 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Psychedelic drawing on the can with a lot of misty clouds and a lot of water all in a orange and purple spectrum of color.
Pours murky, hazy dirty orange with medium-sized head. Bubbly. Settles as very thin, almost transparent layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Not much lacing to speak of.
Aroma is intense, sweet fruit with lighter tart notes. Sweet exotic peach, mango and canned pears. Fairly strong tart notes of unripe berries.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, lightly prickly yet soft texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and a bit acerbic. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A bit generic but a nice enough tart and semi-dry NEIPA with a healthy amount of Fruit juice.

Kissmeyer would not be Kissmeyer if even his not so great beers are pretty good. This one is very similar to his New England IPA, but this time the hop backbone is a bit weaker. My number one complaint with many beers is a lack of stable foam, and this one lacks the foam that is so important to drinkability and feel, in my opinion. So yeah, this one did the job on the patio of our summer house in Hornbæk/Denmark, but I will moat likely stock up on other choices, not so much on this one.

500 ml can, from SPAR Aalbæk. ABV is 5.5%. Brewed for Kissmeyer Brewing Co. at Theodor Schiøtz Brewing Co., Tværgade 2, 5000 Odense C. Hops are Mandarina Bavaria, Citra, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka. Malts are pilsner, pale, wheat, Munich and caramel. Brewed with apricot juice and orange juice.
Cloudy brownish-yellow colour, moderate to small white head. Strong and pleasant aroma of pine and spruce, apricot and oranges. Distinct fruity flavour, notes of oranges, grapefruit and apricot, also resinous hops in the finish. Refreshing beer.
