Copenhagen 11/2 2019. 50 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Psychedelic looking can in gold and red with a giant hop cone and a glass of beer and the wordc”Juicy” written in Graffitti style letters.
Pours hazy, milky, pale yellow with medium-sized head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense citric and fruity. Lighter odor of exotic fruit soon overcome by Grape fruit and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, Soft texture.
Flavor is medium sweet balanced by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter. Lingers for a bit.
Moderately bitter NEIPA which does what it is supposed to without making a fuss.

Sep. 2019: 500 ml can, as Kissmeyer Juicy New England IPA, brewed by Kissmeyer Brewing Co. at Theodor Schiøtz Brewing Co., Odense. ABV is 5.5%. Bought at SPAR Ålbæk. Cloudy muddy-yellow colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of pine and spruce, also grapefruit, hints of tropical fruits. The flavour is moderately piney and grapefruity, the finish is a bit dull, low bitterness.
