Copenhagen 24/5 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Dark label with slightly open door where light is spilling out.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering much of anything. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with an earthy scent mining with tart berries and bitter coffee. Humid soil and hints of plants decomposing. Tart, sour cherries. Bitter coffee.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong austere, tart, sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Quite aggressively austere and sour and without much sweetness for balance.
