500ml bottle picked up at the bottle shop. It's marketed as a Belgian IPA even though it's erroneously listed as an American IPA here. Somebody should re-classify it.
Pours a hazy orange colour. Scant half inch of head that dissipates in seconds.
Not much hop or yeast aroma.
This isn't great. The taste reminds me a lot of some of the generally so-so locally-made English IPAs. Caramel malt is definitely the dominant flavour. Some nondescript fruity hops. I get a bit of a spicy clove/pepper yeast aftertaste but that's about the only element that would lead me to believe it's supposed to be Belgian.
Not all that interesting. Pretty flat.
This, for me, is a rare Indie Ale House misfire. I'd like to see them take a fresh stab at this style.

Got as part of a flight at the brewery. Served at around 10deg C in a sampler glass
A- Pours a 1/2" high white head that is gone in seconds. Light to medium gold colour. Filtered clear.
S- Yeasty, light hops.
T- Light hops. Touch sour. Not very complex at all. Just light flavored even through the ABV is there.
M- Dry and carbonated
O- Nice but not worth having again. Just a so so brew/blend
Food Pairing
This ok brew would go rather well with........ Artesian bread and butter. Something light and mellow so as not to overpower the brew
Enjoy
