Poured into a nonic pint from a 1.9l growler filled at the bottle shop yesterday.

Slightly hazy blonde ale colour. Solid two inches of foamy head. Some lacing.

Citrus and tropical fruit aroma.

Lots of tropical fruit. I'd say something a lot like green mango is the dominant flavour. I don't know the hop strain that's generating that flavour, but it definitely makes for a unique profile. Not much malt sweetness.

Crisp. Quite dry. It's got an astringent bitterness that sticks around. Fizzy carbonation.

I'm not sure it's quite up there with Instigator, but it's an interesting alternative when you feel like switching it up a bit. Indie Ale House has gotten really skilled at brewing these not-too-sweet, not-too-boozy, but intensely flavourful IPAs.

Purchased at the brewery. Served at 8deg C or so in a draught glass

A- Pours a nice high white head that lasts for a few minutes or so. Light gold colour and filtered clear

S- Nice hops here

T- Hops and more hops. Nice amount for such a low ABV. Good balance though

M- Creamy and rich

O- Very good brew. This is a winner they should bottle and sell. Will buy if I see it anywhere or go there again

Food Pairing

This nice little brew went well with...... Hamburgers with nice salty fries!

Enjoy

Complex hop flavours. On tap at the source. Tropical, understated, and that's a good thing. Yellow bodied with a little lace. Good drinkability.
