Pours out of the can a relatively clear orange that turns slightly hazy in the glass with a bit of floating particulate - couple fingers of creamy just slightly off white head.
Nose has a whack of mango, tropical fruit, over ripe citrus - caramel malt and a bit of pine and dankness.
Sweet caramel malt on the palate and an explosion of ripe orange, mango, tropical fruit, a bit of pine resin and once again just a touch of dankness - minimal bitterness. Piney flavour quite a ways down the list.
Medium full mouthfeel with slightly subdued carbonation - sweet sticky tropical citrus.
Had with Five Guys burger - interested to try again without food, as I feel like took away from rather than complimented this beer.

Appearance - Pours a hazy copper with three fingers of frothy white head.

Smell - citrus, piney, earthy, floral, leafy hops, citrus and grapefruit peel, mild pine resin, mango, pineapple, peach, apricot, caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.

Taste - citrus, piney, earthy, floral, and leafy hops upfront. The citrus and grapefruit peel come through next. The mild pine resin, mango, pineapple, peach, and apricot follow suit with the caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast rounding out the brew.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and tropical fruits lingering.

Overall - A very drinkable brew. I wish the pine resin made more of a predominant role in this one. I felt as though the tropical and citrus elements were spot on but they fall flat on their can when they say "big pine and grapefruit notes". The grapefruit is there but not enough pine but that's just my opinion. I'll enjoy the rest of this can.

Pours hazy tangerine with a frothy everlasting head. The aroma is of tropical, mango, apricot, pineapple hops with a bit of cookie dough malt in the back. The taste is hop forward with loads of citrus, tropical hops and a good level of pale malt to balance. The mouthfeel is full bodied with full carbonation. High bitterness and loads of tropical fruit in the super long finish.

This is a great DIPA. Very hoppy and complex, but balance and crushable. Dangerous for the ABV.
