On tap at Bryden's, into a tulip. A pumpkin ale fermented with abbey yeast.

Darker brown, almost black in colour. Nose of clove, cinnamon, lighter nutmeg and gentle pumpkin notes. Taste has more cinnamon and nutmeg, a touch of pumpkin, darker malts and almost a brown ale like character (perhaps even a dubbel considering the yeast). Sweet but drying enough to keep things balance. A tasty pumpkin ale, all the appropriate flavours but body was a bit on the thinner side for me.

On tap at the Brewery market. Tasty pumpkin yielding a boozy spicy mix. Black colour, no head. Spicy aroma. Good drinkability, medium bodied and smooth. Decent pumpkin brewed by Jeff. Cinammon, nutmeg, yeast, mollasses, some roast. Appropriate carbonation.
