Very smooth. Sweet dark chocolate, roast and coffee flavours are well integrated with he barrel notes of bourbon, vanilla and toasted oak. Slight astringency I'm the finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Would like a little more barrel but not sure if the base beer could hold up to that.

Enjoyed at the brewpub. Incredibly smooth, though somewhat light mouthfeel. Very whisky. Deep brown. I could have a shot of this in the morning before an oatmeal stout. No head, look and feel of a cask beer. Definitely worth a try for barrel aged fans.
