So I had a bottle of this from my brother and sat on it longer than I should have.
During the sampling I found the beer wasnt very good and was worried that it wasnt reflective of the fresh beer. But neither of the ratings here are very good either so here goes.
Pouring at cellar temp into my snifter the beer is a clear copper color with minimal eggshell white head of maybe .5 cm.
Aroma is some floral hops and a bit of grass, but also a weird soapy fragrance and some light caramel in the background.
The first sip reveals a lighter then expected body with medium carbonation.
Flavor is a bit of caramel and then some grassy hops floral notes. The floral notes almost seem artificial and are again more like a soapy flavor. There is a bit of harsh bitterness on the finish too. Im not sure this beer was good when fresh, but dont think it could have ever been really that good. I wouldnt recommend this one.
