Intense golden, very clean and bright. Scarce foam.
The smell is light, but after all, pleasant. Hop, light tropical fruit, grassy, tea, citrus, tangerine.
The taste starts malty, with some honey, then troical fruit, hint of gooseberry, citrus fruit.
In the aftertaste a bit more malty/honey, but still acceptable.
Honest.

330ml can from Meta Supermercati (€1.59):
Light, almost water amber with a thumb sized, bubbly white head that holds well. The nose is fruity & sweet with a pine & citrus hop backing that is quite strong with some grapefruit & a little strawberry too. The taste was just as hoppy with the pine & grapefruit dominating, there was some caramel sweetness & the odd biscuit malt. It's a medium, balanced beer that's easy on the way down & definitely better than anticipated.

Ceres Brewery (Royal Unibrew) “Mosaic IPA”
33 cl can coded “161020. H11 12” and sampled on 251119
€1,50 @ PAM Local, Piazza degli Ottaviani, Firenze, IT
Notes via stream of consciousness: It displays a fingerprints-through-the-glass clarity with an amber colored body and short head of white. The aroma offers berries and citrus as well as some earthiness and pine. The flavor follows. Neither is very bright, nor is it nearly as fruity as many Mosiac hopped beers can be. I’ll assume that it’s not dry hopped, but they could have used a little more in the flavor addition. This is from a really large brewery though so that kind of makes sense, and to be honest, if you’re already familiar with Mosaic hops you can pick them out due to the berry note. The malt is sweetish, and has a delicate biscuity character to it. A solid bitterness anchors it, and it finishes dry with some residual earthiness lingering. In the mouth it’s medium bodied and gently crisp. Looking back, the head fell fairly quickly but it did leave some very nice torn sheets of lace about the glass the whole way through. For the price I can’t complain, and it is in general a very well balanced and polished ale, however I certainly wouldn’t suggest it as an example of a beer that shows off the multiple characteristics of the Mosaic variety.
