I try this in 2003 holydays, imported by Prissa liquor store from Puebla mexico, drink this is very grateful, its taste of grains, carameled, its espectacular blonde color, smell like a cereal, sweet mouthfeel,CERES, its name came for the wheat or something, full bodied, drinkability special for delicatessen, i try its presentation of 1qt steel can; its present a touch of broiled hops; serve in a pilsner glass; 98% recommended.

I should note that my label identifies this beer as Ceres Royal Export (without the "Classic"). Since the ABV is right, I assume we are talking about the same beer. Comes in a one liter black can with a big crown above the name Ceres in white letters on a red banner. No information about ingredients. Best before 7/8/04, I opened it on 1/8/04.
Pours a very uninspiring clear gold with a one finger snow white head that fades quickly but does manage to leave a spot or two of lace before calling it a day. The nose is all musty corn and stale bread. The mouth is prickly and light. The taste is, well, tasteless. Then comes some corn and some old dirty socks. There's a touch of sour in the finish, chased by an aftertaste dominated by rusty nails. Not a good product, the lion's share of my one liter is on a non-stop journey to the toilet (not via my digestive system, either).
