Södra Pale Ale might not have been the best APA I’ve had but I was still surprised that it had some flavor and was pretty good.
Look: clear golden hue quite foamy.
Aroma: grapefruit a little bit of pine
Taste: There was caramel, grapefruit, pine and some floral hops,
Feel: light to medium body, crisp and easy drinking despite the significant bitterness.

Sweet and strong aroma with notes of caramel malt and citrus. The taste is quite bitter but dies out too quickly.

The colour is gold with a tint of amber (10 EBC), the liquid is clear. The four finger head is off-white and airy. It sinks slowly leaving lots of thick lacing.
The smell is bitter and hoppy. Some grapefruit and exotic fruits. Sweet notes of wort and malt. Hints of butterscotch and ground white pepper. It is a little too sweet.
The taste is bitter with frowsy sweet notes of wort and root cellar. They pass quickly, leaving room for some citric/exotic fruits. Medium body. The aftertaste is sweet and worty with some bitter notes, green fruits and a hint of green apples (acetylaldehyde). The finish is creamy and a little unclean/unfinished.
The carbonation is strong with lots of very small short lived bubbles. The liquid is semi-smooth.
This one feels partly unfermented.
