I had this beer on-tap in a snifter at WABL Belgianfest 2015.
Appearance: totally black hue; beautiful and dark with a persistent creamy tan foam.
Smell: delicious and sweet with a big toffee, caramel and crème brûlée. Sweet, complex and delicious.
Taste: the flavor is not quite as intense as the aroma, but it is still very good. It's quite roasty with a little bit of an edge to it that provides an interesting juxtaposition to that sweet, amazing aroma.
Mouthfeel: medium body with an OK carbonation and creaminess; quite decent but not brilliant.
Overall: this is a very interesting beer, most noteworthy for its amazing aroma.
