This is a nice roasty stout, dry and quite light bodied. It's got the lowest ABV I've ever seen for a barrel-aged stout, but the taste still has a solid whiskey component. You'd never mistake this for BCBS or Fremont's KDS, or one of the other BA heavy hitters, as it's much milder. But it's a tasty beer. Keep it up, Hilliard's!
