Served in straight pint glass. Poured a typical black color with a very thin, tan head that had low retention and lacing. The aroma started out with some nice roasty notes and also featured good, earthy grains and a bit of yeast spice that seems to be common among the beers from this brewery.
The flavors were pretty much those of an average example of the style, roast & grains, with that bit yeastiness going on. The body was really thin for the style, but since I enjoyed the beer overall, I didn't mark it down any further. Drinkability was very nice, the beer went down smooth and easily enough. Overall, a nice little beer that probably won't thrill you, but won't be a waste of time and calories either. Worth a shot when you see it.

O: Consider this an under-average stout. Nothing good nothing bad and definitely nothing worth rebuying.
