Not sure what style to list this under, update as needed please. Served in straight pint glass. Poured a cloudy pale yellow color with a thin, white head that had retention and lacing.

The aroma featured some good earthy grains and a healthy yeast spice. The taste had the same aspects, nice grain, spicy yeast but also showed a slight touch of a skunky funkiness.

The body was OK, fairly typical for an American Blonde. Drinkability was good, but that funk got a touch tiresome. Overall, a good but not great brew. Worth a shot if you see it. I'm not really sure what was "Scottish" about this beer, I didn't get any peat or smoky features. I'm not sure what the brewers were aiming for, so I don't know if they hit their target or not.
