On tap at The Glendale Tap in Glendale, CA.

Described as Berliner Weisse aged in mezcal barrels.

Pours a murky light orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with malt, agave, tequila, lime, and slight smoke aromas. Taste is much the same with sour malt, lime, tequila, and slight smoke flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and interesting as a beer that tastes very similar to a margarita.
