On tap at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky ruby red with a foamy reddish-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, earth, floral, and salt aromas. Taste is much the same with salt, floral, earth, and tomato sauce flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer with a salty tomato sauce flavor and virtually no tartness that I usually get from the style.
Serving type: on tap.
