Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (~80% opacity), light golden color with a mild white head. SRM of 7. (3.75)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of pineapple, passionfruit, orange citrus, lemon citrus, with some tropical peach/stonefruit underneath. Juicy. (3.75)
Flavor: The flavor follows with lots of passionfruti, pineapple and orange citrus upfront. This then turns into a tropical stonefruit peach flavor in the middle. Finishes with a sweet and tropical strawberry finish. Juicy, and smooth. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Good carbonation. Finishes flavorful, but also clean on the palate. (4.25)
Compared to New Belgium V2K IPA 8/13/21: Pours a similar color with a milder head. More citrus and pineapple notes. Less tropical fruit punch and cherry. Lighter and cleaner overall.
Overall: A really nice hazy NEIPA here. Better than I expected. Has strong tropical orange, passionfruit, and pineapple flavors with some sweet strawberry on the finish. A nice body that finishes light and clean enough. (Final Rating: 3.95)
