I can only say that this DIPA is highly forgettable. For DIPA I’ll stick with Pliny.

pleasantly impressed; i was expecting it to be ok since it’s Golden Road but it turns out to have many good qualities and the weight of a more expensive beer. the feel really is excellent. it’s heavy, sticky and thick. not too dank either like some hazys.

Drank from the tallboy can in North Hollywood, CA. The beer has a light smell of citrus rind. Taste is dry and also light. Citrus rind and crackery malt. Finishes with some pine and grapefruit. This was somewhat weak and doesn't stand out from other average hazy IPAs.

Appearance: pours a golden orange color with a bright white foam head. Somewhat retentive.
Aroma: tropical and citrus. Candy Orange.
Taste: follows the nose. Medium bitterness. Slight boozy quality in the background.
Overall: a solid hazy double. Not incredibly complex, but balanced well.

Can pour - hazy yellow/orange juice with short foamy white head leaving scattered lacing. Nose is mostly tropical fruit and taste follows more or less with it lingering on the finish. Fairly fair and drinkable, not particularly memorable.

Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a 1 finger retentive head.
Smells tropical citrusy like grapefruit and pineapple. Some hoppy notes as well.
Taste is very fruity, pineapple, grape, melon. Dissipates into the mid where some hop notes are to be found. No bite. Finishes kinda grassy.

First off the aroma is very tropical and juicy. Pours a thick fluffy head - definitely hazy with a golden tinge. Taste is very creamy and nice slightly sweet on the front end but also West coasty bitterness on the finish. This clock's in at 9% ABV but this really could be more like a 7% since a lot of these double IPAs are kind of sticky and heavy.

Overly carbonated had to pour completely differently to get it to become drinkable at all out of the can, other than that quite average at best.

This beer is improperly labeled. Its not a bad beer, but a dipa or imperial has to have some hops and some bitter. This is simply a strong sour ale. The mouth feel and carbonation are nice, but again all i get is sour. If you like sours then this for you.
