I mostly agree with AleManDan's review. Check it out from 7/31/23. I think there must be lactose in it, and that adds a creaminess, and works to counter any bitterness. There's something a bit mysterious about what makes it go down so easily. I just can't identify it, but it's strangely nondescript. I recommend trying it as your first drink, after you haven't had a beer for longer than normal.

Tastes kinda pissy, which is weird for a hazy IPA. I’ve tasted soapy plenty of times, but never pissy. Tastes like mango, guava, strawberry, peach. Not much pine hop flavor. Tastes watered down. Synergy is bad. And piss. Not good.

Appearance - Pours with fair haze and is light orange in color. Off-white, near finger width head that dissipates in fair time, leaving a thin, broken layer of suds . Not much for lacing save a few broken lines and small spotting.
Smell - Bright, hoppy notes of orange, pineapple, fresh leaf and underlying bready sweetness.
Taste - Follows the nose. Hops are bright and fruity, with orange, tangerine and pineapple primarily, with lesser leaf and a hint of pine hitting by mid-taste. Malty undertone sweetness that hints at cracker or lightly toasted bread. Finish adds a light pithy bite that carries into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick texture before a crisp, slightly dry finish.
Overall - Drinks more like a citrusy West Coast IPA more than a true hazy, but it's pretty good regardless. The 10 hops used reads like a who's-who list of IPA all-stars, with Strata, Centennial, Chinook, CTZ, Idaho 7, Simcoe, Motueka, Amarillo, Cashmere and Galaxy. Golden Road gets a lot of flack selling out to AB-InBev, and perhaps rightfully so, but I won't deny this is a great brew. Though it's nearly a month past the best before date, it still drinks remarkably well.

I am trying a pint of this beer off the tapper at Bill's Pizza in Palm Desert, California. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bright citrus fruit hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp sweet malt base with pineapple and apricot presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

LOOK:
Poured from a 19 oz "stove pipe" can that says I only have 30 more days till it goes bad (drink by, best by...). I'll take it, but I'd rather know WHEN it was canned. About 2 months ago I hope. ANYWAY...poured into a pint jar. Persistent 1/4 inch head. It's hazy, but you can see through it a bit almost.
SMELLS:
Wow! A bready, creamy backbone but lots of lemon and grapefruit zest, Grassy, herbal, bright...I want to sip!
ON THE TONGUE:
Very citrus dominate zest, with loads of stonefruits and lemon. It's not sweet, not too bitter, but it's hoppy. Really good stuff. Crushable. I've had it on draft. It can absolutely stand up to food, but it can also just be sessioned on by itself.
MOUTHFEEL:
Robust and medium, but finishes dry and does not leave any major resiny hop oils like you might get from a WCIPA. Also, it doesn't feel too pillowy which I actually like. It is smooth and finishes more like a hybrid NEIPA/WCIPA. I love that!
OVERALL:
Want to try 10 different hops all at once? I'm sure some are just small additions, but this all comes together very well. I give this a solid A. it's 7.5% and it doesn't even taste much stronger than a 5% wheat beer but it has oh so much more flavor and hop character!

Pours hazy golden with light head on draught in large pub glass at Bowlero. Subtle notes of melon and bold notes of hop. Hit the spot for bowling alley brew. Decent local “micro” hazy IPA.
Also pours on draught at First Draught DTLA.
