Pours a light brown-orange with a finger of head that leaves a trail of lacing behind. Smells light and refreshing, with dominant aromas of yeasty banana bread and star fruit. A whiff of cinnamon, clove, and other spices that could be baked into said banana bread follow closely behind, but this is not a spicefest. The flavors add a bit of apple and biscuit, but it doesn't stray far from the nose. Not as complex as some more well-known benchmark tripels, but I'm really enjoying it all the same. Dangerously quaffable for 9.3%, this is bright and cheerful, would be excellent as a dessert or nightcap, and I hope I can find another bottle next time I'm in Indy. Well done.
