Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a clear burnished amber color; the modest head fades quickly, leaving just a few spots behind
Smell: Caramel and tropical fruit tones
Taste: Caramel forward with modest earthy bitterness and tropical tones; after the swallow, pithy and piney elements arrive though the finish leans toward the caramel
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: This beer leans toward the malty side and despite the Mosaic and Simcoe hops, drinks like an old school IPA; perhaps that was the original intent
