16 oz can, no date printed, into Goose Island Nonic.
Deep blonde-gold, with a creamy head of 2 fingers that recedes quickly to 1 and stays stable leaving some lace behind.
Aroma of what I'd identify as Sabro hops - kind of melony and lemony - with notes of white wine, grapefruit, and other citrus rinds.
Flavor brings grapefruit peel, lemon rind, soap, vanilla, and melon. It has a distinct bitter piney edge which helps it from being disgusting.
Feel is very carbonated, resinous, with some alcohol presence but not too much.
Overall it hits all the markers of its style but it's not good enough for me to revisit. The lemon soap thing is too much for me.

Pours a fairly clear amber with a fluffy head of foam.
Smell is fruity with notes of pine, citrus and resin.
Taste is fruity and crisp. Notes of citrus, piney resin and a moderate bitterness that lingers. Spot on classic American IPA.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice, classic IPA. Very well balanced.

Clear, bright golden orange body topped with a fairly thick and frothy head. Fine tropical fruit and floral aroma; orange and pineapple. Light cereal grain malt base with a mellow fruity and and hop bitterness rounding things out. Medium-heavy body; slick and smooth on the palate; some alcohol warmth.
A pretty tasty American IPA, balanced with good depth, not too complex yet still a lot to pick out with your senses. Refreshing and satisfying.
