Picked up a bullet of this to drink while watching the Bears game on Sunday night...
A: Pours a Hazelnut brown with maybe one finger of medium retention tan head.
S: Can smell the hops immediately (this was wet hopped a few days before I picked it up) Piney, Citrusy(Oranges, Pineapples) with a little coffee in the back as well.
T: Taste pretty closely follows the nose. Little less pine than in the smell and definitely more citrus. Coffee on the back end again adds a nice touch in my opinion and smooths the flavor out in the aftertaste.
M: Well Carbonated, sticky, and with lots of great lacing.
O: I love brown ales for their easy-drinkingness. I love hopped up brown ales even more for their combination of the aforementioned easy-drinkingness and more explosive flavor palate. B+
