Poured a cloudy orange body with one-finger head and left lace patches down the glass. Aroma is bitter citric and floral hops with hints of tropical fruits. Dry, bitter, slightly floral hopped beer with a bitter and dry finish. Not a bad pale ale at all but skimps on the malts and goes for an expanded hop presence w/ notes of tropical and grapefruit hops; however, these flavors are overpowered by a bitter hop presence and a minor citric acidity.

Like a previous reviewer mentioned, no bells and whistles. And that's probably ok. Bitterness at the end is nice. Smell is somewhat pine and floral. Color is hazy mid dark straw. Little head. Is good but not one to seek out...unless I'm in Indy

12oz bottle appears to be stamped Best by 060516. Thanks to my friend, Ken, for giving me a bottle to try.
A - slightly hazed golden body is capped with a frothy off-white head that holds good retention
S - juicy & tropical nose with mango, pineapple, mandarin, light caramel
T - very bitter and hop forward with pine resin, orange zest, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, pale & caramel malt
M - medium body, moderate carbonation, finishing very bitter and dry with pine, zest, and spicy white pepper lingering
O - seems like a love it or hate it beer. I really dig it but seems a bit too bitter to be an APA - I'm not complaining. I'd buy it again.
