P: On tap at brewery, poured in to a 12 fl oz plastic cup.
A: SRM is dark brown/black. Nearly opaque. Head is tan, semi bubbly, 1 in, dissipates to line the top of the beer. Medium carbonation. Medium lacing.
S: Big intense fresh dark roast coffee and dark roast malt. I know there are hops here, but the coffee is so intense that barely any other smells came through.
T: Big coffee flavor. Super fresh, super clean, very balanced coffee flavor. Dark roast malt, oats, and lightly bittered chocolate. A touch of hops.
M: Full body, Viscous. Oat, coffee, and carbonation create a medium chewy/thick texture that is still very palletable. Light hops brighten up the feel. Finished semi-dry.
O: Very good coffee stout. Big coffee flavor that is very balanced and blends nicely with the rest of the beer. Coffee is the star, but everything else gives a good performance as well. One of the biggest coffee noses I have ever smelled. Way to go guys.
